Delete your Bodek account

Deleting your account closes it on every Bodek site. After a 5-day grace period everything in it is permanently wiped, and that part can't be undone.

Before you delete

• Download anything you want to keep from Bodek Files, and export your form responses from Bodek Forms (Export CSV). There is no 60-day retention after a deletion — the 60 days you may have read about apply when a subscription ends, not when an account is deleted.
• Cancel your subscription in Billing & subscription if you don't want further charges.
• If you own an organization workspace, decide what happens to it and its members first. It is deleted with your account.
• Revoke API keys and OAuth apps you've created in Bodek Developers.

Delete your account

1. Go to accounts.bodek.us and open Settings → Delete account.
2. Click Delete my account.
3. Read what will be removed, type your email address to confirm, and click Schedule deletion.

The account is locked straight away: it stops signing in to every Bodek site and to the phone and desktop apps, and existing sessions, remembered browsers and app sign-ins end immediately.

The 5-day grace period

You have 5 days to change your mind:

1. Sign in at accounts.bodek.us.
2. Open Settings → Delete account and choose Keep my account. You'll be asked for your password or your authenticator code.

The account then comes back completely untouched. Signing in on its own does not cancel the deletion — you have to choose Keep my account.

What is deleted after 5 days

Your Bodek Files content (every file, including the copies held in any storage you connected, and every thumbnail, preview and video copy we made), albums and album messages, people and all face data, sync state, search history, signed-in devices, two-step methods and passkeys, webhooks, API keys, saved payment methods, your avatar, your saved Bodek Tools items and the games you created. Any scheduled recurring payment is cancelled. Organizations you own are deleted in full; files you created inside someone else's organization belong to that organization and are handed to its owner instead.

Bodek Forms, Bodek SMS and Bodek API data is not yet removed automatically. If you have used those products, email support@bodek.us and we'll remove it for you.

Limited records we must keep for legal, accounting, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, and copies sitting in backups until they are overwritten, can outlive the deletion. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Only want to stop paying?

You don't need to delete your account. Cancel your subscription instead; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your files are then kept for 60 days so you can download them.
