Switch workspaces and choose a default

Move between your personal workspace and organizations, and pick which one opens when you sign in.

Each workspace has its own files, photos, albums and storage. Search and uploads always happen in the workspace you're in.

Switch workspace

  • On the website: click the workspace name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Switch workspace. On a phone's browser, tap Spaces.
  • In the app: open Settings and choose the workspace.

Start in the same workspace every time

On the website:

  1. Open Settings → Appearance.
  2. Under Default workspace on login, turn on Always start in a chosen workspace and choose it.

In the mobile app:

  1. Open **Settings → Workspaces.
  2. Under Default workspace, turn on Always start in a chosen workspace and choose it.

Storage per workspace

The bar under the workspace name shows how much of that workspace's storage is used. Your personal workspace uses your plan's storage; an organization has its own pool. See Settings → Danger zone → Storage usage for details.

Where files are stored
