Find and name people in your photos
Name the people Bodek recognises, merge duplicates, fix mistakes and hide people you don't want to see.
Bodek Files groups photos by the faces in them. You'll find them under Photos → People. A person appears once they're detected in at least two photos.
Name someone
Open a person and click Add name. Naming people lets you search for them by name.
Fix mistakes
- Merge with…: combine two groups that are the same person. This can't be undone automatically, so check first.
- Split selected out: select photos that belong to someone else and move them into a new group.
- Review suggestions: confirm or reject faces Bodek isn't sure about.
- Set selected as cover: choose which photo represents the person.
Hide someone
Click Hide this person to remove them from People. On the website, hidden people are listed under Settings → Storage. On iOS and Android hidden people are listed under settings → People, sharing & scanning. You can choose to unhide or permanently delete a person from there.
Share someone's photos
Share, on a person, creates a shared album of their photos that updates as new photos of them are added.
Places
Photos → Places groups photos by where they were taken, using the location saved in each photo.
