Sign in on the mobile app with a QR code
Scan a code from the website to sign in to the Bodek Files app in seconds, without typing your password on your phone.
You can sign in to the Bodek Files app for iPhone, iPad or Android by scanning a QR code shown on the website.
On the website
- Sign in at files.bodek.us on a computer.
- Open Settings → Mobile apps and click Get a pairing code.
- Confirm it's you with your password (or the code from your authenticator app, if you use one).
- A QR code and an 8-character code appear. They work once and expire after 10 minutes.
On your phone
- Open the Bodek Files app and tap Scan QR code.
- Point the camera at the code on your screen. You're signed in right away.
On iPhone you can also point the regular Camera app at the code and tap the link that appears.
Can't scan? Tap Enter the code instead under the camera view and type the 8 characters.
Adding a second account? In the app go to Settings, tap your name at the top, then Add another account.
Once you are logged in on mobile you can also add another device using a QR code on the already logged in mobile device by navigating to: Settings → Link another device.
See or remove signed-in phones
Every phone you sign in appears under Settings → Mobile apps → Signed-in devices on the website, and under Settings → Signed-in devices in the app. Signing a phone out there takes effect immediately. Changing or resetting your password also signs out every phone.
