Create a QR code

Make a QR code for a link, text, Wi-Fi network, email, phone number, text message or contact card in a few seconds.

The QR Code Generator on Bodek Tools is free, and you don't need an account to use it. Codes are generated in your browser as you type.

Make a code

  1. Open tools.bodek.us and choose QR Code Generator (or go straight to tools.bodek.us/qr).

  2. Under 1. Content, choose what the code should contain:

    Type When someone scans it
    URL Opens a web page
    Text Shows your text
    Wi-Fi Offers to join your Wi-Fi network
    Email Starts an email to your address, optionally with a subject and message
    Phone Offers to call your number
    SMS Starts a text message to your number
    vCard Offers to save your contact details

  3. Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type. For URL, enter the Website address; if you leave out https://, it's added for you.

  4. Optionally add a logo and colours under 2. Design and 3. Logo.

  5. Download it as PNG or SVG, or copy it using the buttons under the preview.

A counter under the fields shows how much content the code holds. The limit is 2,048 bytes (2 KB); if you go over, shorten the content.

Test before you share

Always scan the finished code with your own phone's camera before you print or publish it, to check that it opens what you expect.
